At EVC, it is our desire to develop fully devoted followers of Christ, starting with our youngest believers (Kindergarten - 6th grade).
We believe that the childhood years are some of the most important to plant the seed of God's Word in young lives
in order to see God's Word take root and be a strong foundation for a life used by God. WE LOVE KIDS and we want
to see God's plan for their lives be fulfilled.

During our 9:00 service, Bible study classes are available for children in K- 5th grade. We use Group's Hands-On Bible curriculum as well as teacher supplemented materials to provide a place where kids can grow in their knowledge and love of God's Word and where they can learn about what it means to have a vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Because we view 6th grade as a pivotal age of development and transition, 6th graders are invited to join the main worship service at 9:00.

Adventure Alley is a worship and teaching experience designed specifically for children in K-4th grade. After a time of corporate worship through music and large group teaching using Elevate Curriculum, children are separated into small groups by grade level where age-appropriate activities reinforce that day's teaching. We end our time together as a large group, reviewing what we have learned with a fun and exciting "game-show" type review time.
Also available soon during our 10:45 service is a pre-teen program called "Grapple". After all children in K-6th grade have joined together in a time of worship through music, 5th and 6th graders are given an opportunity to grow as disciples of Christ in a setting that is casual, relational and all-their-own . Preteens are able to "grapple" with issues that relate specifically to them and find out what God's Word has to say about them and the situations that they may face on a daily basis.

Beginning August 27th, 2008, and following the EM-S ISD calendar, EVC kids who are in 1st-6th grade are invited to join us for EVC kids' praise choir.
This is the first children's choir experience to be offered at EVC and it's going to be a blast!
We will have a time for fun games, great snacks, and most of all, awesome praise through some of today's most exciting worship music for kids.
We will prepare to participate in EVC's main worship service from time to time as well as other possible ministry opportunities.
