KALEW (kaleo) - Greek for "To Call."
"Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses."
As Christ followers, there are certain things to which we have been "Called." Kaleo Outreach was developed out of a desire to answer that call and compassion for the hurting people of Tarrant County and the world. The purpose of Kaleo Outreach of Eagle's View Church is to reach out to all people with the love of Jesus. Our desire at EVC is to take the love of Jesus to the streets of our community and to the uttermost parts of the world. Listed below are the various branches of ministry facilitated by Kaleo Outreach.  Outreach Opportunities at EVC
- Rebuilders is an outreach and support group for those with addictions to drugs, alcohol, or any other type of addiction. We also offer counseling for victims of domestic violence, troubled teens and those who may be homeless.
- Short term mission trips to SE Asia, India and Mexico: Since 1999 we have made multiple trips to Cambodia, Vietnam, Mexico and India. We most recently partnered with Glocal Ventures International in ministering to people groups of northern Vietnam. On these trips we strive to meet the physical needs of those to which we have been “called” in the name of Jesus. www.glocalventures.com
- CSI: Community Service Involvement is a local outreach where we participate in random acts of kindness and home-makeovers for those in need within our community.
- Disaster Relief is an outreach where we provide clothing and other necessities to those who are disaster victims.
- Angel Food Ministries is a program providing large quantities of food at discounted prices. www.angelfoodministries.com
